About 5M Leadership

5M Leadership works with institutions across East and Southern Africa on governance, organisational health and management development.

Our work rests on two books by our founder, I.S. Matthew. Stitch In Time gives organisations five governance domains for finding and repairing structural faults early. 5M Unbreakable gives senior professionals five frameworks for a stronger career, leadership and inner life.

I.S. Matthew

I.S. Matthew is the founder of 5M Leadership. He has spent more than twenty-five years in executive roles, including chief financial officer, director, founder and board chair, in organisations across Africa. His work has taken him to Accra, Addis Ababa, Kampala, Kigali, Lagos and Nairobi.

He is a board chair and the author of Stitch In Time and 5M Unbreakable. He leads every ORD Scan engagement, facilitates 5M Keystone and 5M Presence, and mentors leaders through 5M Ascent.

He divides his time between Nairobi and Kampala.
