A few people, often including me, do far more of the real work than any plan states. Meetings and reports fill the week, and the important work happens late. Good people leave, or there is not a single person ready to step up. Bad news reaches the top late, or softened. It is unclear who decides what. I find it hard to take a real break. I hold back from saying difficult things to people above me or around me. I am unsure about my next career move.
